Martial God Asura Chapters 106-110: Chu Feng's World Spirit Space and the Mysterious Queen

The path of a World Spiritist was one shrouded in profound mystery, a discipline that drew power not from the mortal realm but from the enigmatic Spiritual World. For Chu Feng, who had just begun to grasp the fundamentals, the next step was monumental: using his own Spirit power to create a World Spirit Space within his Spiritual World. This space would act as a gateway, a conduit through which the elusive power of Spirit Formation could be drawn and harnessed. It was a task demanding exquisite control and vast reserves of Spirit power, akin to constructing an intricate palace from the raw material of one's own spirit. As Chu Feng focused, preparing to condense his energy and begin this arduous construction, he willed himself into the depths of his own consciousness.
What he found there left him breathless with astonishment.
His Spiritual World was a boundless, starry expanse, filled with drifting strands of luminous gas where he could move with thought alone, sovereign of an infinite domain. But he was not its first architect. There, floating amidst the cosmic vastness, was a structure of breathtaking beauty and impossible scale. A colossal palace, crafted from what seemed like crystalline light, with colors that dazzled the soul. It stretched upward, piercing the heavens of his inner world, its peak vanishing into realms unseen. This was no rudimentary gateway; this was a fully realized, staggeringly complex World Spirit Space. The amount of Spirit power and the degree of perfect control required to create such a marvel was far beyond Chu Feng's current comprehension. Someone had built this for him.
Before his shock could settle, a voice echoed from within the crystalline structure—a voice of sublime sweetness, the most lovely sound he had ever heard, yet one that triggered a deep-seated memory. It was the voice from his dream.
"So everything was real?" he murmured, his heart pounding. Steeling himself, he passed through the seemingly solid wall of the palace and entered.
Inside, the environment shifted. His god-like freedom was curtailed, and his feet met a solid, crystal-like floor. The surroundings were instantly familiar: towering walls, a massive, ominous door sealed with layers of glowing chains that exuded a terrifying aura, and nearby, a huge, jet-black egg. It was the exact scene from his dream, now confirmed as a tangible reality within his own soul.
"Ahh, idiot Chu Feng, you finally got in again!" the voice chirped from within the egg, a chaotic blend of complaint and strange affection. "You're too stupid, too stupid. Do you know how long I have waited for you? 15 years! Damn it. Bastard. Your comprehension skills are bad right? They are simply horrible."
The words tumbled out in a disorganized stream, yet each syllable was melodious. The entity knew his name and claimed to have shared his senses, experiencing his life from within his Spiritual World for a decade and a half. "How did you enter my Spiritual World?" Chu Feng demanded, keeping a cautious distance.
"How should I know? When I woke up, I was here. I'm even sealed by this damned Spirit Formation and I can't even move," the egg retorted, its tone shifting to resentment. "It's most likely what your bastard parents did."
The mention of his parents sent a jolt through Chu Feng. "Then do you know who my parents are? Their names? Where they are?"
"I even wanted to ask you that!" the egg shot back, its voice heating up. "You better not let me know who they are or else I will make them pay the price. They dare to seal me in your smelly Spiritual World! Damn it."
Despite the aggressive words, a warm, indescribable feeling blossomed in Chu Feng's chest. This magnificent World Spirit Space, this sealed entity—they were not accidents. They were preparations. His family had not abandoned him; they had laid a foundation of unimaginable strength for him. The mystery of their departure remained, but now it was coupled with a tangible legacy. He would find them, and learn the truth.
"Oi oi oi, what are you thinking? Hurry up and release me!" the egg bellowed, interrupting his thoughts.
Chu Feng snorted. "Are you underestimating my intelligence or overestimating yours? Your resentment is so heavy. If I let you out, I’m just looking to die." He ignored further protests, sitting cross-legged to attempt linking with the Spirit Formation power. The process was frustratingly slow; even with the gateway built, connecting to that foreign energy was like groping in a dark, vast ocean.
"Bastard, you want to link with the Spirit Formation power right? I can teach you," the egg offered, its tone shifting to a wheedling pitch. "Do you still want to defeat that Gong Luyun? I can help you. Hey!!!"
Chu Feng eyed the egg suspiciously. "Can you really help me?"
"Of course I can! Right now, the power of Spirit Formation is already within the World Spirit Space. It’s just not letting you use it. If you try to link normally, it'll take days to grasp a tiny bit. But I have an incantation. Use it, and the power will be yours to command—as much as your Spirit power can handle."
"A convenient incantation? It wouldn't be the one to undo your seal, would it?" Chu Feng challenged.
The egg erupted in frustration. "This is your Spirit world! You control everything here! I'm sealed, my cultivation is restricted! My current strength is far below yours, or do you think I'd be begging you? I've been stuck here for 15 years, with nothing to eat or drink, no one to talk to! You at least had people to bully you! I didn't even have that!" The sweet voice cracked, dissolving into genuine-sounding sobs.
The plea, mixed with logical reasoning, softened Chu Feng's resolve. Her loneliness mirrored his own years of isolation within the Chu family. "How do I undo the seal?" he asked quietly.
"Just use your power and punch this shell! Hard! That's all!"
With a deep breath, Chu Feng approached the black egg. He focused his Spirit power into his fist and, with a sharp exhale, struck. Bang! A fist-shaped dent cratered the surface, from which a spiderweb of cracks exploded outward with a loud crackle. The eggshell split cleanly in two, falling away to reveal what was inside.
Chu Feng's breath caught in his throat.
Before him stood a girl of ethereal, devastating beauty. Her skin was winter snow with a rosy luster, so flawless it begged to be touched. Her face was a perfect oval, framed by cascading black hair, with large, captivating eyes that held galaxies within their depths. A delicate nose and soft, pink lips completed a picture of enchanting allure. She wore a short skirt woven from mysterious black feathers that contrasted starkly with her snow-white shoulders and long, shapely legs. She was, without exaggeration, the most stunning creature Chu Feng had ever seen, a beauty that could stun all living things.
"What are you looking at? If you're already so lewd at such a young age, what would happen when you grow up?" she chided, blinking disdainfully.
"This isn't called lewd. This is called appreciation," Chu Feng retorted, wiping a trace of drool from his chin.
"Tch. Quite a few reasons you have there." A faint, incredibly sweet smile touched her lips. Then, her expression burst into pure joy. "Waa, the feeling of freedom is still the best!" She spun around, arms wide, then darted through the World Spirit Space like a bird finally released from its cage, her laughter echoing off the crystal walls.
"Young lady, how should I call you?" Chu Feng asked once her initial euphoria subsided.
"What lady? Call me ‘Milady Queen’!" she insisted, sticking out her tongue and pulling a face.
"Milady Queen? You're clearly just a small little girl. Tell me how to call you or I'll call you Eggy."
"Bastard! You're Eggy! Your whole family are Eggies!" she fired back, her childish antics belying her mature form.
"Oi, Eggy, being humans means you need to be honest. Isn't it time for that incantation?"
"I'm not a human, so does that mean I don't need to be honest?"
Chu Feng was speechless, outmaneuvered in shamelessness. After more bickering, she finally relented. "Fine! Call me 'Milady Queen', and I'll tell you."
"Milady Queen!" Chu Feng declared firmly.
"Damn. You really don't have any integrity." She rolled her starry eyes, then began chanting in a strange, flowing language. As she spoke, the atmosphere in the World Spirit Space shifted. Countless strands of transparent, powerful gas materialized, swirling around her before she pointed at Chu Feng. "Go."
The gas surged into him. It was the Spirit Formation power, now readily available, flowing at his command. "Only I can use the incantation. But, as long as I am here, the Spirit Formation power will be available for you to use," she explained proudly.
With this new power secured, Chu Feng's thoughts turned to his greater goal. "Milady Queen, you said you could help me beat Gong Luyun. How?"
"By making you a true World Spiritist," she stated, her demeanor turning instructive. "Most who use Spirit Formations for defense are just dabblers. A qualified World Spiritist wields the strongest defense and the strongest attacks: Spirit Formations for defense, and World Spirits for offense."
"World Spirits?" Chu Feng's interest was instantly hooked.
"Organisms from the Spiritual World. They possess immense power and can reside within your body. If you had a Profound realm World Spirit serving you, you'd effectively be a Profound realm expert, regardless of your own cultivation."
The potential was staggering. "How do I link to one? Are there any here?"
"Not with your current Spirit power. Even that dogbutt Elder Zhuge can't get a World Spirit to truly serve him," she said with contempt. Then she smiled mischievously. "But someone left a present for you. At least two World Spirits are locked in this World Spirit Space."
Hope flared in Chu Feng's heart—another gift from his family. "Where?"
"One is very strong, the other is very weak. Which one interests you?"
"The weak one," Chu Feng reasoned, thinking caution wise.
She pointed a slender finger at the massive, chain-sealed door radiating terror. "Behind there."
Chu Feng swallowed hard. "A World Spirit that terrifying is the weak one?"
"That's right. It's extremely violent and would never serve you. If you released it, it would overpower your Spirit power, possess your body, and use it to live in the human world. With its temper, it would probably destroy your entire Nine Provinces."
A monster capable of annihilating continents was locked inside him? The sheer scale of his family's power was mind-numbing. "Where's the other one? The strong one?" he asked, a cold sweat breaking out as he glanced around the otherwise empty space.
The girl grinned, a strange, playful light in her eyes. She pointed at herself. "The strong one was already released by you!"
"It's you?" Chu Feng leapt back in alarm, putting several meters between them. He scrutinized her with his Spirit power but detected no cultivation aura, no hint of fearsome energy. She seemed completely harmless.
"Haha, am I that scary?" she giggled, covering her mouth.
"Were you toying with me?" Chu Feng frowned, feeling tricked.
"What would I toy you for? I'll warn you, don't anger me or I'll eat you." Suddenly, she lunged at him with a mock-ferocious snarl.
Reacting on instinct, Chu Feng shot forward, grabbed her wrists, and spun her around, pinning her arms behind her back and pushing her onto the ground. "Ahh! Let me go!!" she cried, struggling futilely against his strength.
"You stinking Eggy, you were tricking me," he said, relief washing over him as her powerlessness became clear. In the heat of the moment, wanting to teach her a lesson, he raised his hand and brought it down on her well-developed bottom. The intended pat, however, misfired into a firm grab.
"Ahh~~~~~~" a deafening shriek tore through the World Spirit Space. The sensation was unexpectedly, overwhelmingly vivid—soft, flexible, and electrifying even through the feathered skirt. Chu Feng's entire body flushed with heat.
"Bastard! You dare to take advantage of me! I will kill you!" The girl's face was crimson, her beautiful eyes blazing with pure, unadulterated fury.
"A mistake! That was absolutely a mistake!" Chu Feng stammered, releasing her and backing away, his own face red with a mix of embarrassment and lingering sensation.
"I'll kill you!" Freed, she launched herself at him again. Chu Feng, meeting her furious eyes, felt a sudden, irrational spike of danger. He grabbed her wrists again and pushed her down, but this time his momentum carried him forward, pinning her fully beneath him.
"Ahh! You bastard, what do you want to do?!" she wailed, now genuinely frightened, feeling the press of his body against hers.
"Ehh…Sorry, natural reactions," he mumbled, hastily rolling off but keeping his hands on her shoulders. "You stinking Eggy. You really 'bully the weak and are afraid of the strong'. I give you some face yet you dare to threaten me. Do you believe if you dare threaten me again, I'll take you down?" He tried to menace her, but couldn't meet her gaze, his own body thrumming with confused energy.
"You dare? If you dare, I will self-explode and bring you down with me!" she hissed, her eyes filled with a terrifying, resolute determination.
Seeing that look, Chu Feng's bravado vanished. "I was joking. You should understand, I, Chu Feng, am not that kind of person." He released her, offering a soft, apologetic laugh.
Am! Seizing the chance, she grabbed his arm and bit down with all her might. Chu Feng braced for pain, but felt nothing. His body, tempered by the Divine Lightning, was like iron.
"Ahh, you bastard! Is your arm made by iron?!" she cried, releasing him to clutch her own mouth, tears springing to her eyes from the pain in her teeth.
Seeing her cry, a sharp, unexpected pang of guilt struck Chu Feng's heart. "Okay Eggy, I was wrong, okay? Who told you to trick me!" He apologized, coaxing her like a child until her tears subsided.
"You bastard. How did I trick you? I'm really strong, but my cultivation was sealed by someone," she said, her face a picture of grievance.
"Do you know how to undo your seal?" Chu Feng asked, suddenly concerned.
"I don't know," she shook her head.
"Good." He couldn't help but sigh in relief.
"YOU BASTARD!" she howled, leaping at him once more, their chaotic dynamic firmly established.
After the scuffle, Chu Feng was certain of two things: she posed no physical threat to him in her current state, and her presence in his Spirit world was a precarious situation for her, given her beauty and his ability to interact with her physically. The thought was dangerous, and he pushed it aside.
"Oi, bastard, what are you thinking about?" she demanded, seeing his distant expression.
"I say, Eggy. You said that as long as you and me combined into one, you can help me defeat Gong Luyun. Was that true?" he asked with a wicked grin.
"Go die! No one would combine with you!" she raged, grinding her teeth. Even in anger, she was unbearably cute. "It's residing, not combining!"
"Residing? How?"
"By establishing a Spirit Connection Contract. It lets me share your Spirit world fully. If you permit it, I can channel my power to you from within your body. But my cultivation is sealed, so I have to start from scratch. Help me reach the Profound realm in one year, and I'll give you the power to face Gong Luyun."
"Help you cultivate? The time it takes would get me to the Heaven realm!" Chu Feng complained.
"Hmph. Can you reach the Heaven realm in a year? Helping me won't hinder you; it will enhance your Spirit Formation techniques. My cultivation feeds on 'Source energy' from cultivators, living or dead. Find me a Profound realm cultivator's body to absorb, and I'll reach the Origin realm almost instantly. How's that for speed?"
"Source energy? From the dead too?" This was a revelation.
"Of course! Why do you think Elder Zhuge consumed Leng Wuzui and that old elder? Why do you think there were no remains in the Imperial Sky Sage's tomb? He's likely feeding a World Spirit to try and form a contract. But you," she said, crossing her arms proudly, "your luck is good. I am willing to contract with you. The condition: you find me enough Source energy."
She uncrossed her arms, forming a strange handprint. Her feathered skirt fluttered as an eerie, beautiful black light emanated from her body—a darkness that shone. The light flowed to the ground, forming a shifting, sinister pattern that resembled the living face of a monstrous creature, inspiring instinctive dread.
"What are you thinking about? Quickly stand in here," she commanded, her beauty magnified by the dark aura.
"You want me to stand on that?" Chu Feng hesitated.
"Bastard! This is my Spirit Connection Spirit Formation! Countless top World Spiritists begged for this chance! Now, I offer it to you, and you refuse?" Her brows slanted in anger.
Gritting his teeth, Chu Feng stepped onto the monstrous pattern. The moment his feet touched it, a powerful, engulfing force swallowed his consciousness, and his mind went blank.
"Mm."
Chu Feng's eyes fluttered open. He was back in his room in the Chu family residence, in the exact position he'd held before entering his Spiritual World. He was alive, unharmed. A deep sigh of relief escaped him.
"Oi, smelly Chu Feng, go and find Source energy for me!" The girl's voice rang clearly in his ears.
Chu Feng jumped, looking around the empty room. "Eggy!! You came out too? Where?"
"Idiot, I'm still in your Spirit world."
A wave of exhilaration washed over him. He whispered, a smile spreading across his face, "That means we succeeded?" The contract was sealed. The mysterious, tempestuous, and beautiful Milady Queen was now bound to him, and a new, perilous, and exhilarating chapter of his journey as a World Spiritist had truly begun. The path to defeating Gong Luyun, and the deeper mystery of his own lineage, now stretched before him, illuminated by a strange, dark light from a world beyond his own.
